ADBlock® Micro-Digester

ADBag® is a fully prefabricated anaerobic digestion system developed by Demetra to convert diverse organic wastes into renewable biogas and high-value bio-fertilizer.

Technical Overview

ADBlock® is Demetra’s ultra-compact, fully prefabricated anaerobic digestion unit, built on the same patented continuous-mixing principle as ADBag®. Housed on a 6 m × 6 m × 2.5 m square skid, it integrates a reinforced-plastic reactor bag, recirculation & heat-exchange system, control panel and biogas/feed-digestate storage tanks. Designed for plug-and-play deployment and remote operation, ADBlock® produces clean power and heat from up to 12% DM organic waste streams.

Key Specifications

Reinforced-Plastic Bag Reactor & Base Skid

A 30 m³ fabric-lined reactor sits atop a welded steel base that houses all hydraulics, controls, tanks and optional ORC micro-turbine.

Continuous Hydraulic Mixing

A low-power recirculation pump withdraws slurry from the bag floor, grinds solids and re-injects via multi-nozzle diffusers—preventing sedimentation and ensuring uniform bacterial contact.

Digital & Remote Management

An onboard PLC with touchscreen and dedicated mobile app provides local control; secure VPN access enables real-time monitoring, setpoint adjustment and predictive maintenance from Demetra’s operations centre.
